ALMADE _// House - Portugal

Although it might not seem that way, Almade’s affair with electronic music is an old thing. Heavy influenced by the sounds of Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish and Dj Vibe in their late 90’s and early 00’s, it took some time until he finally listened to his passion.

In 2017, he began a series of what he likes to call as “field studies”, attending some of the major festivals and parties in Europe. Amsterdam, Barcelona, Ibiza, London, Madrid and even at the small town of Boom, in Belgium. He wanted to understand the feeling, to be closer to the essence of what makes people dance.

All this journey led to the beginning of his musical production. His intention is to create sounds that can take you on a trip: A magical bond between you and the dance floor.
